About this venue

Steam Stokes Croft, also billed as Steam on Stokes, is a beer hall at 106 Stokes Croft, in a ground-floor unit of the Grade II listed Carriage Works built in 1862. The room is high-ceilinged and windowless at the front, with a central bar, bright cartoon murals and an outdoor terrace at the back.

It focuses on beers from breweries in the South West and beyond, and has a side room available for hire. It is run by the team behind Steam Clifton; the unit was previously the Farside, run by Left Handed Giant from July 2024.
