About this venue
The Bootlegger Covent Garden is a prohibition-era themed cocktail bar on the corner of Burleigh Street and Exeter Street, within the Strand Palace Hotel block. It opened after the operator took on the former Sinners Social Club site, which before that traded as Tequila Mockingbird Covent Garden Lyceum.
Billed as "Covent Garden's new hideout", it serves hand-crafted cocktails, beers and a full food menu, with a dance floor and live music from Thursday to Saturday — jazz, swing and rock — plus a piano night midweek, DJ sets and bottomless brunches. Sections of the room can be reserved for groups, including a raised VIP area.
