The Southfield
Student-area pub and live music bar on Southfield Road in the middle of the Teesside University campus.
About this venue
The Southfield is a pub and bar at 18 Southfield Road, in the middle of the Teesside University campus in Middlesbrough. It is part of Stonegate's Social Pub and Kitchen brand and serves food from breakfast onwards, with a rotating craft beer and cider wall and cocktails.
It runs a weekly programme rather than a ticketed one: live music every Friday evening with free entry, karaoke on Wednesdays, a Sunday quiz, and pool and darts competitions during the week. There are pool tables, retro and board games, multiple sports screens and a large beer garden. The operator publishes no capacity, so none is recorded here.
