About this venue
3Arena opened on 24 August 2013 as Tele2 Arena and took its current name on 1 January 2025. It is a multi-arena with a sliding roof, a transparent facade, Wi-Fi throughout and 600 digital screens, and is home to Djurgården Fotboll and Hammarby Fotboll. Concert capacity is around 40,000 depending on stage position, with about 30,000 for sport; the attendance record is 40,899 (Ant Wan, 2024). It also holds corporate events, with banquets for up to 5,000 and conference and expo layouts for around 3,000, plus lounges, boxes and meeting rooms for groups of up to 2,000. Bookings go through Stockholm Live. Note: the slug carries a -2 suffix only because the base slug belongs to the 3Arena in Dublin, a different venue.
