54 Liverpool is a late-night bar and nightclub at 19-21 Seel Street, a few steps from Liverpool ONE in the Ropewalks. It runs to about 5,000 sq ft over two levels, with a VIP mezzanine, a garden for outdoor drinking and a room styled on New York disco. It opens Fridays from 11pm and Saturdays from 8pm, both until 5am. The venue took its present form in 2019, when the team behind the nearby 53 opened here after a fire destroyed that site.
Its programme is a club programme. Resident and guest DJs play house, tech house and club classics, with live performance layered over the top — dancers, a saxophonist working the floor and live bongo drums. Guests on the decks have included Julie McKnight, Todd Terry, PAWSA and ANOTR. A Cirque Du Brunch runs as a separate ticketed event.
The venue is let for private hire in sections, by floor or in full, for birthdays, corporate events, launch parties and after-parties, with the team assisting on entertainment, decor, drinks packages and VIP service. It has a house sound system and a full lighting rig. No guest capacity is published for the building or for either level, so no bookable space is recorded here.
