About this venue
Aalborg Teater is a producing theatre at Jernbanegade 11, in a building from 1878 that has been rebuilt several times. The main stage (Store Scene) has 460 seats and an enlarged orchestra pit, back stage and workshops. The small stage (Lille Scene), in the corner building at Jernbanegade and Sankelmarksgade, seats about 125 and its stage and seating can be rearranged for each production. A theatre café reopens in the same historic premises. The site pages read do not state whether the stages can be hired.
