About this venue

Ace Cafe London opened in 1938 as a transport cafe on the North Circular Road and became a cult gathering place for motorcyclists, car enthusiasts and rock 'n' roll fans through the 1950s and 60s, giving rise to the "cafe racer" biker culture. Rebuilt after wartime bomb damage and reopened on its original site as a cafe, functions and entertainment venue, it now hosts regular themed bike and car nights, live bands and DJs, and the annual Ace Cafe Reunion ride each September, alongside all-day food and full bar service.

The site received a "Red Wheel" heritage plaque in 2019 recognising its cultural significance to British motoring and music history. Function space is available for hire for parties and private events; on-site motorcycle and car parking is a defining feature of the venue.
