Ain't Nothin' But The Blues Bar

Ain't Nothin' But The Blues Bar has stood on Kingly Street, just off Carnaby Street in Soho, since 1993. It is London's original dedicated blues room and one of very few places in Europe programming live blues every single night, now often twice a night.

The bill mixes touring American acts with London's resident blues players and rising names, and the jam sessions on Sunday and Monday are an institution among the city's musicians. The room is small, wood-lined and standing-heavy, with the stage set among the drinkers rather than raised away from them.

It opens from late afternoon or early evening through to the early hours at weekends. No published capacity figure is available.
