AKK – Arbeitskreis Kultur und Kommunikation

The AKK (Arbeitskreis Kultur und Kommunikation) is a student cultural initiative based in the Altes Stadion at Engesserstraße 17, on the KIT campus in Karlsruhe's Innenstadt-Ost. The Studierendenwerk Karlsruhe supports it financially and practically alongside the Studentenzentrum Z10 and the Studentisches Kulturzentrum, describing it as a place where student cultural workers are given a stage. As of October 2026 the AKK website is temporarily offline after a security vulnerability; its holding page still lists office hours on Thursdays and the phone number. Details of the current event programme could not be read while the site is down.
