About this venue
Akkerhaugen Rocksamfunn operates out of a nearly 100-year-old former railway station building in the village of Akkerhaugen, run by volunteers since the late 1990s. The space combines a concert stage with lighting and sound, a rehearsal room for local bands, and a bar, alongside a chess club and comic book forum that share the building. It's known for its intimate, DIY atmosphere, sometimes hosting acts for audiences as small as 20 people on short notice.
