About this venue
Alta kultursal has operated on the UiT Arctic University campus since 1993, hosting theatre, concerts, conferences and educational events. The hall seats up to 454 in tiered amphitheatre seating or holds 700 standing on a flat floor, with part of the amphitheatre retractable for roughly 400 square metres of extra floor space. The stage spans 10 to 18 metres wide with a 7.5-metre trim height, a full rigging system, and Crestron-controlled lighting, curtains, screens and sound.
