About this venue
Anfield has been the home of Liverpool Football Club since the club's formation in 1892. Following the Anfield Road Stand expansion completed in 2023, its football capacity is 61,276, making it one of the largest stadiums in England.
Liverpool City Council granted permission in 2019 for the stadium bowl to be used for concerts, capped at six a year. Acts to have played the ground include Take That, Bon Jovi and Pink in 2019, Elton John, The Rolling Stones and The Eagles in 2022, and Taylor Swift in 2024. Concert capacity is lower than the football figure, at around 50,000.
Away from the bowl, the club runs a substantial conference and events business from lounges and suites in the Main Stand and the Sir Kenny Dalglish Stand, several with full-height glazing onto the pitch. The spaces range from executive boxes for ten or twelve people to The Carlsberg Dugout at up to 1,500, and are used for conferences, corporate dinners, meetings and weddings. There is free on-site parking for up to 1,350 cars.
