About this venue
Arbetets museum is a working-life museum on the island of Laxholmen in central Norrköping. Besides its exhibitions it has a conference department that rents out meeting rooms, lecture halls and seminar rooms by the full day, half day or evening, for between 14 and 160 people. All rooms have a projector or TV, Wi-Fi, whiteboard and flipchart, hybrid meetings are supported, and food and coffee packages come from Restaurang Vy. Examples are Folksamsalen (about 145 m², up to 160 people, with a stage, sound system and wheelchair places) and Alvarummet (about 60 m², up to 60 people, which can be split into three group rooms). The museum offers overnight packages with partner hotels and is certified to ISO 14001. Note that the Holmbron bridge north of the museum is being replaced from 1 October 2026 to spring 2027, which changes the walking route. Bookings go through the conference department's booking form.
