About this venue
Arnemoen Gard is a working farm at Kjønnås in Ringebu, in the Gudbrandsdalen valley, whose barn was rebuilt over the winter of 2018 into a concert venue. The conversion covered fire safety, universal accessibility, parking and toilets, and the owners invested in sound and lighting, backline and a PA built to a standard professional musicians and engineers expect.
The aim was an intimate concert room with good sound, a warm atmosphere and a varied programme, and it books Norwegian and international artists across the year. Americana and roots music run strongly through the programme, and the farm has hosted acts including Few More Dollars. An outdoor festival area adjoins the barn, and the farm runs its own music festival on the first weekend in June; it has also served as a venue for Gudbrandsdal Musikkfest.
Beyond concerts the rooms are hired out for private functions, meetings and social gatherings.
