About this venue
The Ashcroft Theatre is the proscenium theatre inside Fairfield Halls, Croydon's civic arts complex on Park Lane. It is one of several halls in the building, alongside the larger Concert Hall, and takes drama, dance, comedy and touring productions.
It is named after the actress Peggy Ashcroft, who was born in Croydon, and shares the complex's box office. Following the 2016-2019 refurbishment, its centre aisles were removed for a continental seating layout giving 798 seats.
