About this venue
Askim kulturhus occupies a former cinema building from 1938, extensively renovated in 2002 with a modern extension. Its main hall, Storsalen, seats 510 or holds 605 standing, and is equipped with advanced AV, sound and lighting for concerts, theatre, corporate events and product launches. The venue also has Røwdes Kulturbar, seating 130, which opens an hour before every performance.
