About this venue
Aurora Kultur & Kongress is a culture and congress house on Stadshustorget in Kiruna's new town centre. It describes itself as a meeting place where culture, education, associations and business meet. The building houses a cinema, the Kiruna municipal library, an art hall (Kiruna konsthall), a restaurant and a youth centre, and hosts local cultural associations and an "Öppen scen" open-stage evening.
For hire, the venue lists eight meeting and event spaces booked through an online request form: the congress hall Dálvi (listed capacity 1,400), Kaamos (402), the flexible black box Lumi (130), meeting rooms Disponenten (20), Producenten (30), Ensemblen (12, boardroom style) and Trion/Kvartetten (8), and the VIP cinema Insikten (39).
