About this venue

Baa Bar is a bar and club combo in a converted warehouse at 43-45 Fleet Street, in Liverpool's Ropewalks quarter just off Concert Square. It first opened in 1991 and is the original site of the Baa Bar group, long known in the city for its shooters and its late licence.

The ground floor holds the main bar and dance floor; upstairs are the Club Room and Bar 3, with a courtyard at the back of the building. Music runs across the rooms through the week, with the ground floor leaning to chart, pop and throwbacks while the Club Room programmes house, R&B and related club sounds. The venue books named guest DJs alongside its own weekly nights, and its published calendar runs from freshers season through Halloween and New Year's Eve.

The bar is open Monday to Saturday from 8pm until 4am and operates a strict over-18s policy. It is available for exclusive hire for private parties, generally Sunday to Wednesday, with drinks and party packages arranged on request.
