Babel

Babel opened in September 2008 in a renovated brick church on Spångatan, growing out of the Jeriko cultural house whose club operation dated from 2000. The hall has about 600 square metres of floor, was refitted with new sound and lighting, and works for standing or seated audiences. It runs a weekly programme of concerts, club nights and stage events, with local, national and international artists, DJs and comedians; autumn 2026 listings range from metal (Tyr, Twilight Force) and country to a late-night comedy show. Babel is also let for company events, film screenings, conferences, parties and receptions, with food and drink arranged to order. Typical tickets are around 295 SEK plus booking fee. No fixed capacity figure is published.
