About this venue
Backa Teater is a theatre on Lindholmen on Hisingen, run by Göteborgs Stadsteater but with its own address, box office line and programme, separate from the main theatre on Götaplatsen. Its site covers school bookings, accessibility information, a theatre-visit guide and a Café and Bistro in the building, and the theatre keeps a current 2026-27 production list. Tickets are booked by phone (Tuesday to Saturday, 12.00-18.00) or online, and school bookings have their own line. No room-hire page was found on its site; the stage is used for the theatre's own productions.
