Baiter Park, known to the council as Baiter Recreation Ground, is an open green space on the edge of Poole Harbour, part of Harbourside Park off Catalina Drive. Day to day it is used for walks along the harbour, kite flying and community events, with a skate park, a fitness station, a public slipway and a refreshment stand.
The ground is licensed for hire for outdoor events. BCP Council's outdoor events framework lists Baiter Park as suitable for music events, community events, funfairs, sporting events and food and drink events, with water and electricity available and a council premises licence that excludes alcohol. Events are booked through the BCP Council events team, which asks for a risk assessment and public liability insurance.
