About this venue

Baltiska hallen is the City of Malmö's indoor event arena in the Stadion area, opened in 1964 and renovated in 2022 with a larger floor and new lighting. It has 3,610 spectator seats and a 50 x 28 m arena floor (40 x 20 m playing surface) with a cable-suspended roof about 9.2 m high. It is used for floorball, handball, basketball, boxing, table tennis and tennis and has hosted the floorball World Championship, the Davis Cup and the Women's EHF handball Euro; HK Malmö's and Malmö FBC's elite teams play their home matches here. The arena has a stage-size specification of 20 x 12 m with a seated audience and the stage on the short side (24 x 10 m with the stage on the long side), five dressing rooms ('loger') and ten changing rooms in the basement, a press room for about 80, a cloakroom for 1,400, a kiosk, and two representation rooms of 60 and 150 seats. Trucks load in down a ramp, with the entrance from Eric Perssons väg. Visiting address is Eric Perssons väg 8a. The City's page does not state a booking route, so hire terms are unconfirmed.
