About this venue
Banana Block is a living museum and events space set within a historic linen mill at the Portview Trade Centre on the Newtownards Road in east Belfast. It takes its name from the connections between Belfast and bananas, and grows banana plants and other rare species in homage to the mill's former gardener.
It runs a resident monthly market of local producers, makers and growers alongside exhibitions, workshops and events, and opens Wednesday to Sunday, 10am to 6pm.
