About this venue
The Bandhaus on Saarländer Straße is run by the musicians' association Bandcommunity Leipzig e.V. Since 2010 it has given rehearsal space and a musical home to around 50 local bands, after a long fight over rehearsal space in the city.
The building has its own stage, used for concerts, open jam sessions and community events such as a musicians' flea market for gear and records.
