About this venue
Barras Art and Design, known as BAaD, is a bar, kitchen and events space at 54 Calton Entry, in the heart of the Barras market. It occupies a set of yards and buildings and puts on live music, markets, weddings and private events.
Four spaces are offered for hire: the BAaD Main Space, the Private Bar & Mezzanine, the tropical courtyard and the container yard. The operator publishes no capacity figures for any of them, so none are recorded here.
The venue is wheelchair accessible apart from the upstairs mezzanine, and is dog and child friendly. The main space opens Thursday from 4pm and Friday to Sunday from 11am; the backyard and the Scran n Swally kitchen open at weekends.
