Bergendal Gård

Bergendal gård is a small farm dating from 1918, between Kringlebotn and Nattland school in the Fana district of Bergen. It is run by and for the people who live around it, through Foreningen Bergendal Gård, founded in 2015, and it keeps one of the largest allotment gardens in the country along with beehives, free-range chickens and a steady round of craft activities. The association's stated aim is for the farm to be a hub for culture, tradition, sustainable living and simply meeting other people, with activities for different ages and backgrounds running indoors through the winter and outdoors in the warm months. Concerts run under the Kultur i Bergendal banner and are ticketed through TicketCo — intimate bookings in farm surroundings, taking in singer-songwriters, folk singers and duos.
