St John's Church, Blackpool

St John's is an active Anglican parish church in the Diocese of Blackburn, in Blackpool's town square near the seafront. The current Grade II listed building, designed by Garlick, Park and Sykes in the Early English Gothic style, was built in 1878 to replace an 1821 church on the same site. A 1.6 million pound renovation between 2000 and 2006 added a community and conference centre alongside dedicated space for the Streetlife homelessness charity, and the venue is available for private room hire alongside its worship, weddings, funerals and baptisms.
