About this venue

Brewgata is a craft beer bar in central Oslo, decorated by local and tattoo artists, pouring 16 rotating taps from Norwegian and international microbreweries alongside around 140 bottled beers. For anyone not there for the beer there is a spirits list built on gin, rum and whiskey, plus cocktails and wine. The stage is a working one: live bands play every Saturday and DJs every Friday, with most shows free to get into. The room is set up for acoustic sets but handles full electric shows too, and the bookings run through rock, heavy rock, metal, punk and alternative. Quiz nights fill out the week — a music quiz on Mondays and music bingo on Tuesdays — and the walls carry rotating exhibitions by local artists, with the full sale price going to the artist. Open Monday to Thursday and Sunday 15:00-01:30, Friday and Saturday 14:00-03:30.
