Brighton Beach
Open-air concert site on the beach off Madeira Drive, east of Brighton Palace Pier, used each summer for large ticketed shows.
About this venue
Brighton Beach is used as an open-air concert site, on the shingle off Madeira Drive east of Brighton Palace Pier. It is not a permanent building: promoters build a temporary site there for a short summer season, most recently the On The Beach series in July 2026, which featured Madness, The Maccabees, Editors, Miles Kane, Anna Calvi and Moby.
Events on the seafront and on Madeira Drive are licensed by Brighton & Hove City Council, which publishes hire fees and requires landlord's consent and, where the road is involved, a road closure. There is no resident operator and no year-round programme.
