About this venue

Bristol Cathedral, formally the Cathedral Church of the Holy and Undivided Trinity, stands on College Green in the centre of Bristol. Founded in 1140 as St Augustine's Abbey, it became a cathedral in 1542 and is a rare English example of a hall church, with nave, choir and aisles at the same height.

Alongside daily worship - Morning Prayer, a lunchtime Eucharist and Evening Prayer - it runs a public programme of concerts, exhibitions, family workshops and community events, and offers the building for hire.
