About this venue
Broadway is Nottingham's independent cinema and arts venue, on Broad Street in the Hockley quarter. It is the trading name of Nottingham Media Centre Ltd, a registered charity (no. 700880), and programmes new releases and world cinema alongside Q&As, relaxed and captioned screenings, parent-and-baby showings, and live broadcasts such as National Theatre Live and Met Opera.
The building also houses a cafe bar, runs film courses and workshops, and offers its screens and spaces for venue hire. Comedy promoters use it as a host venue, and it is one of the sites Just the Tonic books for its Nottingham shows.
