About this venue

Brød & Sirkus bills itself as the city's first entertainment bar: a bar in central Oslo whose draw is the programme rather than the drinks list, with something on almost every night it is open. The week runs on quizzes. Tuesdays are a nerd quiz built on pop culture, Wednesdays a general knowledge quiz, Thursdays a logic quiz called Kvalifisert Gjetning, with a film and TV quiz on selected Thursdays. Fridays alternate between two music bingo formats, and Saturdays pair a music quiz with live music under the Hits for Quiz banner. Most events are free to enter, with play starting at 19:00. Club nights run on Friday and Saturday evenings. The room is also hired out for private functions. Open Tuesday to Thursday 18:00-23:00, Friday 18:00-03:00 and Saturday 17:30-03:00; closed Sunday and Monday.
