About this venue

The Bürgerhaus Burbach at Burbacher Markt 20 is one of the civic halls (Bürgerhäuser) of the city of Saarbrücken in the Stadtbezirk West. Its large Festsaal with a stage measures about 595 m2 and takes up to 1,446 people without seating, 604 in rows and 368 at banquet tables; it can currently only be hired in full. Hirers can also use the kitchen and the foyer with cloakroom. The hall has a sound system for hirers' use, a projector and screen, and microphones. The Netzwerk Freie Szene Saar also lists it as a hall with stage for performances. The main entrance and the hall are step-free; the accessible toilet is in the basement and reached by lift. Halls are let by the city to private individuals, associations and businesses under its usage and fee regulations and house rules; bookings are made through the Stadtbezirk West office. There is parking in front of and behind the building, and the Burbacher Markt bus stop is outside.
