About this venue

The Bürgerhaus Dudweiler at Am Markt 115 is the civic hall (Bürgerhaus) of the Stadtbezirk Dudweiler. Its large hall is circular, with 289 m2 on the ground floor and boxes (Logen) on the ground and first floors. It takes up to 580 people without seating, or up to 800 with the ground-floor boxes; 242 in rows (312 with the ground-floor boxes, 372 with the boxes on both levels); and 197 at banquet tables (257 with the boxes). It has a sound system for hirers, a conference system and microphones. Other rooms for hire are the Bezirksratssaal, the community rooms II and III and a painting studio. The Netzwerk Freie Szene Saar also lists it as a hall with stage for performances. The building is leased: catering is provided by the tenant caterer. All entrances are step-free, and a small lift runs from the underground car park beneath the building. Bookings are made through the Stadtbezirk Dudweiler office; further parking is on the Dudoplatz.
