About this venue
The Bürgerhaus HeidelBERG at Forum 1 is the community centre of the Emmertsgrund district, run by the Trägerverein für das Emmertsgrunder Stadtteilmanagement (TES e.V.) with support from the city. The building was redeveloped from 2009 to 2012 as a meeting and communication centre, and since February 2013 the house has also had a media centre and the HeidelBERG-Café, which hosts live music, talks and readings.
The Bürgersaal, about 500 sq m, has a large stage and two mobile partitions, so it can be let whole as the Großer Saal or in parts as the Kleiner Saal, the Panoramasaal (without stage and kitchen, overlooking greenery) and the Kleiner Panoramasaal. It is used for private celebrations and weddings, company and club events, cultural events, conferences and seminars. The foyer and terrace come free with a booking and the kitchen can be added; every seating plan includes wheelchair places.
