Bürgerhaus Pfersee

The Bürgerhaus Pfersee, on Stadtberger Straße beside the Schlösslepark, has been a meeting place for education, culture and community life in Pfersee for about 35 years. AWO Augsburg runs it. The city rebuilt and extended the house, and the new annex opened in June 2024. It doubled the floor area and added offices, two halls and group rooms, and a new lift between the buildings makes the whole house step-free. Around 60 groups now use it, and the city's youth and family office runs a family support point there. The rooms are booked by outside clubs and groups; the city counted about 1,450 external bookings in 2018. The house also organises its own neighbourhood events, such as the Kunstmeile, a district festival and children's workshops, and has hosted concerts such as a choir evening.
