About this venue
The Bürgerzentrum Kirchheim is the events house of the Kirchheim district and, together with the adjoining Kerweplatz, its meeting place for festivals and cultural and traditional events. It is managed on a voluntary basis by the Stadtteilverein Kirchheim e.V.
The Großer Saal seats 200 to 315 depending on stage size and table layout and is equipped with a stage, projector and large screen, and a professional PA with conference microphones. There is also a club room on the second floor for 40 to 70, a ground-floor meeting room for up to 30, a foyer and a well-equipped kitchen; the Bürgersaal in the Altes Rathaus opposite seats up to 20. The house has had a photovoltaic system since 2022. Because it is largely booked by groups and clubs, it currently takes no requests for private events; event requests should be sent about a year ahead, by email, letter or at the Monday office hour. Tram 26 and buses 33 and 721 stop at Kirchheim Rathaus; parking on the Kerweplatz is limited to marked bays.
