Casablanca Jazz Club is a live music club and bar on Middle Street in the Lanes, a few steps from the seafront. Established in 1979, it describes itself as the longest running live music club and bar in the city.
It runs over two floors — a basement room pairing a compact stage with a dance floor and bar, and a first-floor room — with a programme of soul, funk, disco, jazz and R&B, live bands, DJ takeovers and occasional stand-up. It opens Wednesday to Saturday, 8pm to 3am.
