Central Hall was built for the Methodist Church in 1901 at the top of Lothian Road, and its domed, galleried auditorium is one of the larger flat-floor halls in central Edinburgh. The main space was refurbished in 2012.
It operates as a commercial hire venue under the name Central Venues alongside its continuing church use, taking concerts, conferences, exhibitions, graduations and Fringe programming, with a number of smaller breakout rooms and over 600 square metres of exhibition space.
