About this venue
Chapel FM is an arts centre in the old Seacroft chapel on York Road in east Leeds, run with a community radio station at its core. It opened in October 2014 and won a Pro Yorkshire Award for community benefit.
The building describes itself as "a house of creativity, art, music, writing & more with radio at the core", and its spaces are available for hire. Events can be streamed live or recorded to audio or video, and the radio studios can be used to produce podcasts. Its programme runs from the annual Radio Maker Festival to a cafe Piano Trail and weekly Saturday Social sessions for teenagers.
