About this venue
Cheltenham Racecourse at Prestbury Park, on the northern edge of Cheltenham, hosts National Hunt horse racing and is run by The Jockey Club. Away from race days its stands are let through Jockey Club Experiences for meetings, conferences, exhibitions, banquets, weddings, Christmas parties, live events and outdoor events.
The largest space is The Centaur, a 1,300 m² hall with vehicle access for load-in, a balcony and room draping. It takes 2,200 theatre-style, 660 for dinner or 3,000 for a reception, and has hosted award ceremonies, exhibitions, World Championship Snooker and concerts by Paul Weller and Jools Holland. Around it sit more than a dozen suites with racecourse views, among them Gold Cup, Istabraq, The Vestey in the Princess Royal Stand, Festival, Insurance, Panoramic, Sovereign, Mandarin, Crest, Hatton's Grace, the Hall of Fame and private boxes for up to 25. The venue offers in-house catering, AV equipment, free Wi-Fi, free parking and a dedicated event manager.
