About this venue

The Church of Our Saviour (Vor Frelsers Kirke) is a working parish church at Sankt Annæ Gade 29 in Christianshavn. Its spire can be climbed, with a total of 400 steps to the top, and its carillon chimes hourly. The organ was built by the Botzen brothers in 1698-1700 and rebuilt in 1965, with 57 stops on four manuals and pedals. The church arranges 15-20 concerts a year, together with musical church services on Sundays, and its Natkirke evenings on Fridays from 19:00 to 22:00 include live music by small ensembles. The church can be closed for church services. The church's pages do not state a capacity or any hire terms for concerts.
