About this venue

Cirkus, originally Djurgårdscirkus, is a theatre, concert and event stage on Djurgården in Stockholm, opened on 25 May 1892 as a circus building and listed as a protected building since 1983. A newer stage, the Skandia Stage, was added next to the old building in 2015. Today Cirkus seats 1,650 and, besides theatre, concerts and shows, hosts congresses and trade fairs. It has been owned since 2018 by the Pop House group. The venue's own website could not be fetched (it serves a bot checkpoint), so hire terms and current programme were not checked.
