About this venue
Content is a purpose-built events venue and bar in Cains Brewery Village, in Liverpool's Baltic Triangle. It occupies part of the former Robert Cain brewery on Stanhope Street and describes itself as a multi-purpose space with a high-end sound system and what it calls world-class production. It programmes comedy, live game shows, wrestling and club nights alongside its bar trade, and is the Liverpool home of Bongo's Bingo. Dated bills include Alexei Sayle's "How I've Tried to Change the World" on 9 November 2026 and an Atomic Wrestling show in September.
The whole space is let for events through the venue's own enquiry form. No capacity figure is published.
Practical detail from the venue's own pages: there is no cloakroom, no on-site parking (private parking on Grafton Street and some free street parking nearby), a no-re-entry policy once a ticket has been scanned, a ban on bags larger than A4, and a dress code that excludes sportswear except at events such as Bongo's Bingo where fancy dress is expected. Tickets are sold through partner platforms rather than a box office, with limited door sales on some events.
On access, the venue runs a carer's ticket scheme and an access request form, and asks for at least seven days' notice. Its accessible area is small — a maximum of three wheelchair spaces and four seats, each with one companion, varying by event — so it advises contacting the venue before buying tickets.
The venue is one of several independent operators sharing the Cains Brewery Village site, which also houses Baltic Market, Ghetto Golf, BOXPARK Liverpool and the Yellow Submarine Bar.
