Cultplex
Independent cult cinema, video game lounge and event space in a railway arch complex at 50 Red Bank, now occupying the whole building.
About this venue
Cultplex is an independent cult cinema and event space at 50 Red Bank, on the edge of Manchester's Green Quarter. It programmes horror, sci-fi, classics, musicals and contemporary independent film alongside quiz nights, retro video games, film festivals and curated seasons run with partners including Arrow Video and Cinema Rediscovered, and it also runs a membership scheme and hires the space out for private events. Cultplex opened as one tenant of the Red Bank arches complex shared with the GRUB street food collective; after GRUB's parent operation left the site in autumn 2025, Cultplex took on the whole venue.
