About this venue
DAS SANDKORN – Theater & Mehr is a private theatre in the listed Theaterhaus building on Kaiserallee in Karlsruhe's Weststadt, which it shares with the Jakobus-Theater and the marotte Figurentheater. Its programme centres on self-developed plays on current topics: cabaret, musical revues, comedies, and children's and youth theatre.
The theatre has two rooms, each with a stage: the Studio, with a small integrated bar, for up to 90 guests, and the Fabrik, an open, convertible space for up to 160. The rooms can be combined, and both can be booked for closed performances and private or corporate events with a cultural programme.
