A 10,000-capacity events venue inside Manchester's derelict Mayfield railway station, home to The Warehouse Project and large-scale music, arts and cultural events.
Depot Mayfield is a large-scale events venue occupying Manchester's former Mayfield railway station, a terminus closed to passengers since 1960 and derelict for decades before being brought back into use for culture in 2019. Run as part of the Mayfield Partnership with Broadwick, the operator behind London's Printworks and Drumsheds, it holds around 10,000 people across the raw station train shed and its adjoining spaces, and is the principal home of The Warehouse Project's season as well as hosting theatre, festivals, art installations, corporate events and the We Are Football Festival fan park. The site sits behind Piccadilly station next to Mayfield Park, and also contains the separately run Escape to Freight Island.
