About this venue

The Cathedral of All Saints, known as Derby Cathedral, is the cathedral church of the city of Derby and the seat of the Bishop of Derby. It stands on Iron Gate in the Cathedral Quarter. Beyond worship, the cathedral is a regular concert venue. It runs Wednesday lunchtime concerts and its own choral events, and acts as the hosting venue for concerts promoted by others, with tickets sold by the promoter. Autumn and winter 2026 listings include candlelit tribute concerts to Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons and Whitney Houston, concerts by Derby Choral Union, Derby Concert Orchestra's Christmas concert, and themed Christmas candlelight shows. Balcony seating is used for some concerts; it is not suitable for people with limited mobility, and its front row is for ages 16 and over. Access: the main West End entrance is step-free, induction loops are always on, a disabled toilet is at the East End, wheelchairs are available on request from a verger, and limited disabled parking is at the west of the cathedral. No seating capacity or hire terms are published.
