About this venue

Devonshire Green is a public open space of about 1.5 hectares in Sheffield city centre, on Division Street with boundaries on Eldon Street and Fitzwilliam Street. It is landscaped as a shallow amphitheatre, with grass terracing and sculptural walls around a central area.

Sheffield City Council designates it a district park and hires it for events: it has a large level grass area used for outdoor stages and a hard standing area suited to market stalls. It hosts the main free stage of the Fringe at Tramlines each July, alongside specialist markets and outdoor cinema. No capacity is published.
