District is a multi-purpose venue at 61 Jordan Street in Liverpool's Baltic Triangle, in the building formerly known as The Picket, and a tenant of Baltic Creative. It hosts gigs, club nights, festivals, screenings, talks and private events.
The room holds up to 275 standing or 80 for dining. It has a stage and a DJ booth, an in-house PA with microphones and CDJs, a projector and AV, a dressing room, a kitchen, air conditioning, natural light, Wi-Fi and a garden terrace, with free on-site and on-street parking. The venue is wheelchair accessible with accessible parking, caters in house rather than allowing external caterers or brought-in alcohol, and holds an alcohol licence until 4am.
Programming leans to guitar music and club nights: bills in autumn 2026 include indie and post-punk touring bands, a metal all-dayer, a Halloween metal cabaret, a Nirvana tribute and DJ jams. The venue has no working website of its own; enquiries go by email or through its social channels.
